Make Local Government Work Better
In a 2018 DataHaven Community Wellbeing Survey, only 40% of Stamford residents said that our local government does a good job of being responsive. This is unacceptable. Input and feedback from residents is key to good governance and as Mayor, I would make it a priority to improve constituent services and strengthen communication between our city government and people across the city by:
Lifting up voices from all communities and prioritizing diversity with appointments, boards, and commissions.
Prioritizing constituent services and better listening and responding to all Stamford residents when they reach out about a problem.
Proactively seeking input from all neighborhoods and Stamford residents on how government can better serve them.
