Make Local Government Work Better
In a 2018 DataHaven Community Wellbeing Survey, only 40% of Stamford residents said that our local government does a good job of being responsive. This is unacceptable. Input and feedback from residents is key to good governance and as Mayor, I would make it a priority to improve constituent services and strengthen communication between our city government and people across the city by:
-
Lifting up voices from all communities and prioritizing diversity with appointments, boards, and commissions
-
Prioritizing constituent services and better listening and responding to all Stamford residents when they have a problem
-
Proactively seeking input from all neighborhoods and all Stamford residents on how our government can better serve them.
